Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Skate, developed by Alexander af Trolle, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app. Clean Skate includes a free ad-supported tier and may offer paid subscription features, including Clean Skate Pro.

1. Information We Collect

Information you choose to provide Clean Skate does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features.

If you contact us by email, submit feedback, or share a program through the app, we may process the information you choose to provide. This may include:

Onboarding questions can be skipped. We use these answers for product research, not to personalize your program or scores. Responses are stored in Firebase Firestore with a random submission identifier, timestamp, app version, and platform. We also share a broad category based on the roles you select with RevenueCat to understand subscriptions by user group. Skipped role answers are not shared, and written answers are not shared with RevenueCat. Please do not include names, contact details, or other personal information in written answers. If a submission cannot be sent immediately, it is saved on your device and retried when you use the app.

Subscription and purchase information If you purchase, restore, or manage a subscription such as Clean Skate Pro, we and our service providers may process purchase and subscription data needed to validate and maintain access. This may include receipts or purchase tokens, transaction identifiers, renewal and expiration status, and entitlement information.

Automatically collected information When you use Clean Skate, certain information may be collected automatically, such as device type, device identifiers, IP address, operating system, crash data, and app usage information.

Clean Skate does not request access to your device's precise GPS location.

However, Google AdMob may use your IP address to infer a coarse location, such as city or country, to support advertising depending on your consent settings.

We do not sell your data for money. We may share information with service providers and platform partners as needed to operate the app, provide subscriptions, support sharing and feedback features, run analytics, and display ads.

Your rights Under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for ad tracking through the app's Privacy Settings, where available.

To exercise privacy rights, contact privacy@cleanskate.com. If your request relates to an App Store or Google Play transaction, you may also need to contact the relevant store provider directly.

For users in California and other U.S. states with similar privacy laws, we do not "sell" personal information in the traditional sense. However, advertising-related sharing through services such as AdMob may be treated as "sharing" under some laws.

You may be able to opt out through the app's privacy settings or your device settings.

Clean Skate is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Choices and Subscription Management

You can stop app data collection by uninstalling the app.

To limit interest-based advertising, you can use the app's privacy settings or your device settings.

If you have an active subscription, uninstalling the app, deleting local data, or requesting data deletion will not automatically cancel your subscription. Store-billed subscriptions must be canceled through your Apple or Google account settings.

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device on the same supported store account, you may be able to restore your purchase.

If you choose to share a program, the shared data may remain accessible to anyone with the link or identifier until it is removed or no longer available through the service.

9. Data Retention

Where controlled by us, analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

Subscription, transaction, sharing, feedback, and security-related records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to provide the service, restore purchases, comply with legal obligations, or investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Firebase may retain information under their own policies.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
